Elementary School Partnerships
- Super Citizen Awards – over 800 students from Lee’s Summit elementary schools are recognized each year.
- These Super Citizens are great role models to others in their schools. Their commitment to excellence makes a big difference in showing leadership, self improvement and by being a good example to fellow classmates.
Middle School Partnerships
- Junior Optimists best exemplify the traits shared in the Optimist Creed. Members are encouraged to work together and encourage others to maintain a positive attitude and always willing to others in need.
High School Partnerships
- Students of the Month are selected by High School administrators and counselors. Selections are based on strong academic performance, involvement in school activities, overall good character, and school representation.
- Students of the Month and their parents are invited as our guests to an Optimist ceremony where they are treated to a meal, share their high school experiences, receive an honorary plaque, and are recognized in our club’s communication.
